Multi-award-winning comedy captains Kill the Beast present a new twisted tale, inspired by 80s monster movies, 90s gaming and cracking superhero theme-tunes.

The skyline of 2035 is looking a little strange. One by one, tower blocks are being demolished, foundations torn up. There are whispers of an evil from the deep, a damp darkness rising. But monster or no monster, June Berry won’t be leaving her home without a fight.

From the troupe that brought you The Boy Who Kicked Pigs and He Had Hairy Hands, Don’t Wake The Damp combines boundary-pushing projection, razor-sharp wit and trademark physical comedy. Surreal, hilarious and a non-stop neon rollercoaster – grab a mop, and join the fight.

Running Time: 70 mins
Age Recommendation: 12+

This show is part of a trilogy (or Killogy, if you will) which also includes:

The Boy That Kicked Pigs
Tue 21 & Fri 24 Mar

He Had Hairy Hands
Wed 22 & Sat 25 Mar

Join Seymour as he struggles to live up to the promise of last year’s award nominated show. Can he drag himself from the morass of depression to dance around the stage like a monkey once more whilst encouraging the audience to laugh at his desperate life. Puppets, games, sing songs and magical prizes all come together in a laughably futile attempt to hide the bitterness, contempt and resentment of a lonely, lonely man.

Running Time: 60 mins
Age Recommendation: 16+

So, Scott did what any self-respecting Glaswegian man would do: he went back to bed and slept for 4 days, eventually waking up to discover he was now blind in one eye.

Life After Death tells the story of the three weeks that changed Scott’s life forever. From Blackpool to Glasgow to the Neurology Capital of Europe (…Govan), Scott Gibson’s debut is at once a darkly hysterical and inspiring show, delivered with the trademark filthy charisma that Scott has rapidly become renowned for. Life After Death is a tale of love and pain, and fear and hope. It’s about overcoming insurmountable odds, and how comedy can bring you back to life.

Running Time: 60 mins
Age Recommendation: 16+

Reviews: *'A genuine one-off; a unique, appalling voice that anyone with an interest in comedy needs to see at least once.'* ,Chortle (on Neil Hamburger) , ,*'Neil Hamburger remains the greatest comedian I’ve seen the greater majority of an audience walk out on... No one was leaving their seats this evening though, as this peerless performer shocked and delighted in equal measure... Hamburger is a condemned showbiz lag, doomed to perform his antagonistic anti-comedy to potential hostility forever.'* ,Scotsman , ,*'Hamburger is the clapped-out husk of a decorous Southern gentleman, now coughing in painful hacks, suppurating filth through his tuxedo, and here to tip a slurry of abuse all over celebrity and modern life... a combination of malignance and desiccated vaudeville.'* ,Guardian , ,*‘One of the funniest comedians in the country… Hamburger excels at picking comedy traditions apart.’* ,New York Times

Two of the most distinctive voices in comedy come together in this incredible double bill headlining show, as Tim Heidecker makes his UK stand up debut alongside ‘America’s Funnyman’ Neil Hamburger.

Comedian Tim Heidecker is often recognised for his collaborations with fellow comedian Eric Wareheim. The duo created and starred in two successful Adult Swim series Tom Goes to the Mayor (2004) and Tim and Eric Awesome show, Great Job! (2007).

The two have also released several comic albums, created and starred in the film Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie (2012) and co-directed a series of popular Old Spice commercials starring actor Terry Crews.

Heidecker has featured in films including Bridesmaids (2011) and The Comedy (2012) and released a number of comic albums including a collection of onetime presidential candidate Herman Cain-inspired music and Vice Magazine’s best album of 2013 Urinal St. Station. Heidecker has performed as his stand up comedian persona for sold out audiences across the USA and Canada.

For 20 years Neil Hamburger has worked every imaginable stage, from New York’s Madison Square Garden and the UK’s Reading Festival, to a Hollywood cemetery, Tasmanian pubs, and an abandoned monkey cage in a decrepit Catskills zoo. With his unique brand of comedy, he has thrilled, perplexed and repulsed audiences worldwide, and now makes his long awaited return for his 4th engagement at Soho Theatre.

Neil Hamburger was the subject of the critically-acclaimed dramatic 2015 feature film Entertainment, which premiered at the Sundance and Locarno Film Festivals and co-starred John C.
