Marlon Davis: Crackin' Up

Marlon Davis brings a soul-baring hour of comedy to Soho Theatre, in his critically acclaimed show Crackin’ Up.

Crackin’ Up follows the hilarious consequences of a man’s childish obsession with a virtual life and a woman wanting more from their relationship. Though he tries to live in a perfect virtual world (filled with Football Manager…) in reality his life is beginning to fall apart.

Also respected actor and writer, Davis has quickly climbed the comedy ladder, and is regarded as one of the hottest new names on the circuit. His refreshing observations have seen him named FHM Stand Up Hero 2009 winner, So You Think You’re Funny 2006 finalist, Laughing Horse 2006 finalist and Amused Moose Laugh Off 2006 semi finalist.

Alongside his stand up talents, this bright young comedian is also a respected actor and writer. With the MTV series ‘Brown Eyed Boy’ under his belt, he has also written for and starred in Secret Life of Hoodies (Paramount), alongside other appearances on BBC Two, BBC Three, Comedy Central and BBC Radio.
