  • Mon 4 - Sat 9 Apr 2016, 9pm
  • £10 Mon & Tue, £12.50 (£10) Wed - Sat

‘A raw, fearless, boundary-pushing hour of introspective clowning and provocative anti-comedy.’
★★★★ Time Out

John-Luke Roberts spent the Edinburgh Fringe dressing up as his dead father and performing one of the strangest, funniest and most emotionally exhausting shows in town. He’s decided to do it again, because nobody’s stopped him.

One of the most talked about shows of the 2015 Fringe, this is an idiotic comedy show about having and then not having a father, and how stupid you need to make yourself look to get away with speaking ill of the dead.

From the Alternative Comedy Memorial Society co-host, and co-writer of Robert Lyndsay and Maureen Lipman’s sitcom Bull. Trained by Philippe Gaulier.

Running Time: 60 mins
Age Recommendation: 14+

‘A raw, fearless, boundary-pushing hour of introspective clowning and provocative anti-comedy.’
★★★★ Time Out

‘At once elusive and rawly honest, it sees him test the limits of our sympathy, while blurring the line between fact and fiction.’
★★★★ Fest

‘Intelligent, precise and deadly funny.’
★★★★ Chortle

‘Robert stretches the boundaries of the form with a childlike glee.’
Guardian

‘You definitely won’t see another show quite like it.’
