CHRISTEENE: THE CHRISTEENE MACHINE

‘Like some manic combination of Alice Cooper and Hedwig (of the Angry Inch).’ Spin Magazine

Enter THE CHRISTEENE MACHINE: A gender-blending booty-pounding perversion of punk dragged through a musical theatre gutter, commanded by CHRISTEENE: a human pissoir of foul hilarity and raw unabashed sexuality. In this furious ritual, CHRISTEENE is sacrifice, calling the world to bring their burning anger, their tawdry secrets, and their stained hopes to the front.

‘What a fucking awesome hip hop, Beyonce, Evil Dead, queercore, unapologetic, sick show… KILL FOR A TICKET!’ Boy George

‘Leave your inner wallflower at home, CHRISTEENE mashes punk, anarchy, gender politics, sex and a bit of musical theatre in this full-throttle slice of guerilla cabaret.’
Metro

‘Like Beyonce on bath salts.’
Now Magazine (Toronto)

Infamous from the gloryholes of Texas to the dungeons of Berlin, THE CHRISTEENE MACHINE explodes across the London skyline with a full arsenal of ferocious live music intertwined with raw moments of strained intimacy and fiery stank, racing alongside an army of arse-cranking electro-R&B, radioactive theatricals, sexual assault drones C Baby and T Gravel, and top brass DJ JJ Booya commanding the sounds of the space.

saturday 26 july – free post-show party!

As THE CHRISTEENE MACHINE heads up to the Edinburgh Fringe we’re having a post-show party to celebrate the London run on Saturday, hosted by our friends at Vogue Fabrics. Free to all ticket holders for Saturday’s show!
