Soho Theatre Company in association
with Portia Smith presents
Genetics for Blondes
17 - 20 March 2004

A lecture with a difference, these blondes will bring you an all singing all dancing, genetically modified experience.

Are two heads really better than one?

If you are under the impression that a double helix is something that Russian gymnasts do and that DNA stands for Drink and Narcotics Anonymous (or is simply AND spelt backwards), then you might just learn something from Portia Smith and her fellow blonde performers.

Genetics for Blondes separates the facts from mistruths and misconceptions in a way that even blondes can understand. It addresses the social, ethical and cultural issues surrounding genetics and sheds light on the mystery of life itself – after all, it's made up of just four letters and twenty amino acids! (Brunettes welcome.)
