21 - 25 July 2009
9.45pm doors (show starts 10pm)
A one-woman variety show, NYC-based comedian/musician Jessica Delfino tells jokes, shows videos and plays music on an assortment of instruments - from the guitar to the flying V ukulele and rape whistle - leaving you laughing at the darker side of life.
Denounced by the Catholic League and banned by Youtube, does the sweet-faced, potty-mouthed Jessica have a 'depraved understanding of liberty' or is she just misunderstood?
'A seriously talented comic songwriter... A tough show to top'
Metro
'One of the weirdest and best things you'll see this year.'
Time Out
'Jessica Delfino has sang, danced, and comedianed her way to notoriety... Plan to squirm, laugh and perhaps squirm again.'
Time Out New York
'Delfino sincerely strums her guitar in time to funny, often dirty lyrics with a well-practiced deadpan.'
The Onion
'The Lower East Side's queen of obscene.'
