the paper birds theatre company presents
in a thousand pieces
4 - 16 May 2009

8pm

A touching and delicate depiction of the violent, isolated and brutal world home to thousands of women forced into the British sex trade.

Featuring a beautifully woven patchwork of accounts, misunderstanding, movement, text and live original music, the 2008 Fringe First award-winning play In A Thousand Pieces tells the physical and visually moving tale of a young Eastern European girl and her journey to England.

'A sharp, compassionate and deeply felt show'

**** The Scotsman

Post-show discussion: 6 May.
With Denise Marshall OBE, chairman of the Poppy Project (the UK biggest sex trafficking charity) and Heather Harvey, Amnesty Internationals Stop Violence Against Women manager.
