He was wicked Abulkasem. She is mad Abulkasem. Don’t play the Abulkasem.
In a satirical comedy about the lives and identities of young Middle-Easterners in Europe, Invasion! assaults our deepest prejudices about identity, race and language, and asks the question: Who or what is 'Abulkasem'?
Irreverent, funny and often deeply moving, Invasion! calls into question the very nature of theatre. A sell-out in Stockholm for two years, it now comes to London in a new production directed by Lucy Kerbel, winner of the Young Angels Theatremakers Award.
The World in One City Programme supported by Bloomberg.
