Clean Break presents

by Chloë Moss
30 July - 9 August 2008
7.30pm
Crackling with wit and sparkling with hope, This Wide Night is a tender portrayal of two women trying to start again. On release from prison, Lorraine heads straight to Marie’s. They used to share everything inside, but the friendship that once protected them now threatens to smother the fragile freedom they have found.
Chloë Moss’s previous plays include The Way Home (Everyman Theatre, Liverpool), Christmas is Miles Away (Royal Exchange Manchester/Bush Theatre), How Love is Spelt (Bush), A Day in Dull Armour (Royal Court).
Clean Break, founded by two female prisoners in 1979, is critically acclaimed for its innovative programme of theatre productions, new writing projects and drama education specifically concerned with women whose lives have been affected by the criminal justice system.
