At 24, Maslowska is a phenomenon in Poland. her first, controversial, novel (White and Red), written when she was just 18, earner her acclaim, notoriety and a prestigious Polityka Passport award. Her second novel (The Queen's Puke) has just won the NIKE, Poland's highest literary award. This is her playwriting debut.
