WARNING: THIS IS NOT NORMAL CHILDREN’S THEATRE. THERE ARE NO SONGS, NO JOINING IN. THERE IS A FOURTH WALL UPON WHICH THE ACTORS SIT. THERE IS NO HAPPY ENDING. IT MIGHT MAKE YOU CRY.
A satirical comedy for children aged 7+ from the creator of Comedy Club 4 Kids, in which two sixth-formers encounter topics including foxhunting, the education system and the war on terror.
'If you've got children (and perhaps even if you haven't), I'd urge you to pop into Soho to see Cutlery Wars, James Campbell's wonderfully surreal and touching account of a dystopian future school system where nobody can progress in life until they've passed their year six tests. It's rough and ready, but also fiercely intelligent and it is great that Soho is giving it house room during the school holidays.'
