The award-winning comedy puppet sensation

Winner Festival Directors Award 2006
Melbourne International Comedy Festival
6 December 2007 - 6 January 2008
An epic kitchen adventure comes to Soho this Christmas!
Three mad chefs animate two cookie cutters, a host of familiar kitchen utensils and food in a puppet extravaganza of epic - and domestic - proportions.
The Men of Steel are a shining example of the burgeoning puppetry scene in Melbourne: known for exquisite manipulation combined with a vicious sense of humour. This is a show that will have children (and adults) screaming for more.
'Anarchic, messy and highly inventive, this is a fabulous children’s show... popcorn flies in a fountain from a saucepan, icecream grows eyes and a nose, eggs are lobbed in all directions... brilliantly silly and often hilarious...'
The Stage
'...be very wary about sitting on the front row: these guys have eggs and they’re not afraid to use them.'
The List ****
'Fabulously imaginative.'
The Age (Melbourne) *****
'There’s more than enough noise, fun and mess to keep everyone thoroughly entertained.'
Chortle UK
'A childrens show that had my wife, my 4 year old and my mother in law all laughing at the messy antics and multi-level humour. Good, if slightly crude, family fun.'
