Luke Sutherland
Luke was born in London, brought up in Orkney and now lives in Barcelona.
Venus as a Boy is Luke's third and latest book, following Sweetmeat and Jelly Roll, which was shortlisted for the Whitbbread First Novel Award.
Venus as a Boy is currently being adapted for the screen by Picture Palace North.
As a musician and songwriter, Luke has played and guested with various bands including Long Fin Killie, Music A.M. and Mogwai.
