Jean won a scholarship to study at the Royal College of Music, London. She regularly tours with the Locrian Ensemble performing harp concertos and her own arrangements of Irish music and has recorded three CDs with the group. Jean has worked with The London Irish Sinfonia, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Boyzone, Phil Coulter and BBC Television and Radio. Jean played the harp at Buckingham Palace for HRH Prince Charles’s 50th birthday and has since performed at Highgrove on several occasions. Jean played Celtic harp on The Lord of the Rings film soundtracks. She has played in Vienna and St. Petersburg with Boomerang Theatre Company (Ireland) and released an acclaimed CD with her folk group Penradin. In July 2005 she was invited to perform alongside Seamus Heaney at the opening concert of the World Harp Congress.
