WRITERS CENTRE NOVEMBER NEWSWed 24 October 2012
The buzz here is all about Colin Teevan’s THE KINGDOM, which premieres in Soho Upstairs next week. There’s still spaces on COLIN TEEVAN’S WORKSHOP on 30th October, so sign up for a stimulating afternoon where you’ll learn to draw on everything from Myths to the Metro for storytelling inspiration.
More autumnal inspiration is on offer later next week, when Verity Bargate Award winner and Pearson Writer in Residence, THOMAS ECCLESHARE, leads the first of two workshops exploring some alternative ways to define the relationship between you and your audience. A special opportunity to work with a writer whose experience spans the spectrum of theatrical form, book now as these sessions have limited capacity.
November continues to be a busy month of new work across our stages. If you’ve not had enough of JOEL HORWOOD (we haven’t), join us on 4th for a one off evening of his short plays, or if Sci-Fi’s your bag, then pile in for the short works from far off galaxies in BLAST OFF on 12th. End the month with ARAB NIGHTS, Metta Theatre’s Arabian Nights for a modern age told through performance, puppetry and live music and featuring the work of writers including former VBA winner Hassan Abdulrazzak.< Back to List
