Inspired by the forthcoming FIT AND PROPER PEOPLE, a new play by Georgia Fitch directed by Steve Marmion, which takes a hard look at the behind the scenes world of football; Soho Theatre is proud to announce that they have become one of the sponsors of Phoenix Football Club.

Phoenix FC is a gay and gay-friendly football team created in 2008 to meet the needs of East and North London’s growing gay community. They play weekly 5-a-side and are part of a Sunday London league playing in Regent’s Park. Soho Theatre will be using profits from the merchandise sold for FIT AND PROPER PEOPLE to pay for their new team kit; with the aim of promoting the benefits of supporting local football.
