Presenting a packed Christmas line-up of theatre, comedy and cabaret Artistic Director Steve Marmion today announces the Christmas Season for Soho Theatre; including an electrifying new version of Anthony Burgess’ A Clockwork Orange, remaining as terrifyingly relevant today 50 years after its first publication, fiercely brought to the stage with a talented young cast. Continuing Soho Upstairs’ reputation for supporting daring and exciting emerging artists, new theatre company DryWrite present a brand new play by Jack Thorne Mydidae. With a very alternative Christmas celebration and in a unique collaboration David Hoyle and Richard Thomas bring Merrie Hell to Soho Downstairs. Presenting the very best comedy from across the world including one of Australia’s favourite comedians Judith Lucy in the main house for two weeks; plus Sam Simmons and Trevor Noah take up residency for a month with their hugely successful Edinburgh Festival Fringe shows.

A CLOCKWORK ORANGE a playtime of orgiastic ultra violence and sexuality, this breathtaking all-male version of Anthony Burgess’ original literary masterpiece is presented in the Main House for a seven week run opening for previews from Monday 19 November.

MYDIDAE BAFTA award-winner Jack Thorne (This Is England ’88) brings a brand new play to the stage, illuminating the intimate, private and sometimes disturbing moments a couple share, running in Soho Upstairs, opening for previews from Tuesday 04 December.

JUDITH LUCY one of Australia’s most popular comedians, Judith Lucy brings her sharply observed and painfully funny, honest monologue to Soho for a two week run from Monday 19 November.

DAVID HOYLE & RICHARD THOMAS: MERRIE HELL especially for the festive season, the multi-award winning artists David Hoyle and Richard Thomas come together with a trashy, meaty buffet of festive filth and sick songs, opening for previews from Thursday 29 November.

SAM SIMMONS returns for an hour of surburban theatrical absurdism and ground-breaking humour in the Main House from Monday 03 December.

TREVOR NOAH fresh from a total sell-out season at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, South African comedian, Trevor Noah makes his London debut with a four-week season starting on Wednesday 05 December.

LATE NIGHT CHRISTMAS GIMP FIGHT bring the best from their daring Edinburgh 2012 sketch comedy show with some extra special Christmas treats to spread their own brand of festive cheer this season every weekend from Thursday 06 December.
