'Lisa Goldman's spirted and highly enjoyable production... is a feelgood evocation of a normally invisible world'

Aleks Sierz

'Shraddha has energy and some moments of real poetry... it feels faithfully contemporary.'

Evening Standard

'Lisa Goldman’s production is vivid and engaging... there’s something about Natasha Langridge’s new play at Soho that stirs sympathy for the Romany roadsters who live on the outskirts and under motorways with their china dolls, tribal loyalties and quaint old language'

WhatsOnStage.com

'Langridge's aching lament to a dying people and a lost way of life has potent charm'

Metro

The Games spell eviction for the Romany Gypsies. 17 year-old Pearl Penfold is one of them. As the bulldozers close in, Pearl falls in love with Joe, a boy from the local estate. Can Joe prove himself to Pearl and her family before they are gone forever?

A heart-warming love story by new talent Natasha Langridge, directed by Soho Theatre's Artistic Director Lisa Goldman
