National Youth Theatre presents

by Jane Bodie
19 August - 10 September 2008
7.30pm
‘You know, when you type the word kid into your phone, it comes up as lie. Does that mean a lie’s more important, or just more useful?’
Four young women, with drastically different lives, fall pregnant at the same time. Now they all share the same decision - what to do with the baby growing inside them.
Forty years on from The Abortion Act, does the choice we now have make the decision any less difficult? Out of Me is a touching and comic play about sexuality, lies, ladybirds, courage and thermodynamics
Following the success of White Boy, NYT returns to Soho Theatre for a summer residency presenting four new plays in repertory. For details of other performances, click below:

‘Bodie’s work is as cerebral as it is sexual...both funny and stunningly lyrical. Honest human and true’
