FRONT OF HOUSE USHER

FRONT OF HOUSE USHER

Are you a dynamic, positive individual who thrives on a busy, multiple-show fringe festival environment?

Then come and work with us at the most exciting, programme-packed New Writing, Comedy & Cabaret powerhouse in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Front of House team in ensuring that events run smoothly and safely, and that all visitors can enjoy their time at Soho Theatre, providing exceptional customer service to visitors and artists across all of Soho Theatre’s three venues.
Please note, previous experience of working with the general public in a theatre environment is essential to be considered for this position. Experience of working in a multi-venue festival environment is also highly desirable.

To apply please send your CV to jobs@sohotheatre.com with the reference FOH2017 in the subject line. Please include a brief covering letter explaining your suitability for the role, why you would love to work with us, and a general guide to your availability across an average week.
Along with your CV, please also send us a completed equal opportunities monitoring form. This sheet will be detached from your application and used solely for monitoring our Equal Opportunities Policy and not for shortlisting. The form will be kept in confidence by the Personnel Department.

We regret we are unable to contact every applicant individually. Due to the expected volume of applications, we will not be able to provide a receipt of application and will only contact those candidates chosen for interview. This is an ongoing vacancy – we will review CVs against the person specification as and when we receive them. If you have not heard from us within four weeks of sending your CV, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.

Soho Theatre is an equal opportunities employer, and we’re working hard to make sure that the people we work with are representative of our diverse community. We are particularly keen to recruit more talented staff who identify as BAME and/or disabled to work with us, as people from those groups are currently underrepresented in our staff team. We are committed to meeting access requirements; just let us know what you need.
